제26회 부천국제애니메이션페스티벌(BIAF2024) 기자회견이 지난 9월 23일 오전 11시 부천판타스틱큐브에서 열렸다. 오는 10월 25일부터 29일까지 5일간 부천시 웹툰융합센터, 한국만화박물관, CGV 부천, 부천시청, 부천아트센터에서 개최되는 BIAF2024가 기자회견과 함께 영화제 개막을 향한 본격적인 행보를 시작했다.

장선영 아나운서의 사회로 진행된 이날 기자회견에는 BIAF 서채환 조직위원장, 김경호 집행위원장, ‘에릭남’, ‘나인뮤지스’, 이사강 ‘블랙스완’ 뮤직비디오 감독, 김성일 수석 프로그래머, BIAF2024 홍보대사 마마무 솔라 등이 참석해 행사 취지·프로그램·상영 작품 등을 소개했다.

서채환 조직위원장이 “BIAF는 소통, 즐거움, 공감할 수 있는 애니메이션을 통해 풍성하고 알찬 구성으로 여러분들을 기다리고 있다. BIAF를 방문하시는 모든 분이 즐겁게 관람하고 행복한 시간이 되셨으면 좋겠다”라며 기자회견을 시작했다.

김경호 집행위원장은 ‘학술포럼’, ‘시민참여행사’, ‘전시’ 등 여러 프로그램을 소개하며 “애니메이션 마니아뿐만 아니라 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 다양한 프로그램이 준비돼 있다. 지금보다 더 함께 즐길 수 있는 애니메이션영화제가 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
