의왕시가 정조대왕능행차 공동재현 행사를 의왕구간에서 개최했다.

서울특별시, 경기도, 수원특례시, 화성시 주최, 금천구, 안양시, 군포시, 의왕시 후원으로 개최된 정조대왕능행차는 안양구간 석수체육공원 --> 안양역 --> 엘에스로 5.3km, 의왕구간 엘에스로 --> 의왕기아자동차 앞 --> 노송지대 9km에서 행사가 진행됐다.

이번 재현 행사 중 의왕시 구간에는 150여 명의 행렬단이 참여해 당시의 웅장한 행렬을 실감나게 복원했다.

정조대왕능행차는 정조대왕의 효심과 애민 정신을 기리며 혜경궁 홍씨와 청연 군주, 청선 군주를 포함한 조선 왕실의 역사적인 인물들이 함께한 능행차를 시민들과 함께 재현하며 역사와 전통문화를 기념하는 의미 있는 시간이다.

정조대왕 능행차는 1795년(을묘년) 정조가 아버지 사도세자의 묘소인 현륭원(현재의 융건릉)을 참배하기 위해 행차한 대규모 행렬로, 조선 왕조 최대 규모의 행사 중 하나였다.

정조대왕은 24년의 재위기간 동안 친아버지 장조(사도세자)의 묘소를 양주 배봉산에서 화성 현륭원(지금의 융릉)으로 옮긴 후 11년간 총 13번 원행(園行)을 했다. 그 중에도 정조대왕 즉위 20년 해인 1795년 윤 2월 9일부터 16일까지 8일 간 그의 어머니 헌경왕후(혜경궁 홍씨)의 회갑을 맞아 (동갑이었던 아버지 장조의 회갑이기도 했다) 행했던 대규모 행차가 을묘년 화성 행차이며, 이 기록을 자세하게 글과 그림으로 엮어 책으로 남긴 것이 ‘원행을묘정리의궤(園幸乙卯整理儀軌)’이다.

의왕시는 이번 행사에서 의왕현감(시장 김성제)의 정조맞이, 격쟁, 무예 시연, 사전 공연 등 과거와 현재가 어우러지는 다양한 볼거리를 시민들에게 제공해 의미를 더했다.

김성제 의왕시장은 “이번 정조대왕 능행차 공동재현 행사가 많은 시민이 참여해 지역 공동체의 화합을 다지고, 역사와 문화의 소중함을 느끼는 뜻깊은 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Uiwang City held the King Jeongjo’s Royal Procession Joint Reenactment event in the Uiwang section.

Hosted by Seoul Metropolitan City, Gyeonggi Province, Suwon Special City, and Hwaseong City, and sponsored by Geumcheon-gu, Anyang-si, Gunpo-si, and Uiwang-si, the King Jeongjo Royal Procession was held from Anyang Section Seoksu Sports Park to Anyang Station to LS to 5.3km, and Uiwang Section LS to Uiwang Kia Motors to Nosongji 9km.
