경기도일자리재단과 경기주택도시공사 등 경기도 산하 17개 공공기관이 일·가정 양립 문화 확산과 저출생 위기 극복을 위해 지난 12월 18일 경기도청에서 0.5&0.75잡 제도 도입을 위한 업무협약식을 개최했다.

경기도의 ‘0.5&0.75잡’ 정책은 경력단절을 우려해 육아, 가족돌봄 등 단축근무가 필요한 사람을 지원하기 위한 정책으로 주 40시간 기준으로 근무시간을 20시간(0.5잡) 또는 30시간(0.75잡)으로 단축해 다양한 근무 형태를 지원하고 근로자의 선택권을 확대하는 등 일자리 패러다임의 전환을 시도하는 혁신적인 근무제도. ‘0.5&0.75잡’은 김동연 경기도지사의 민선8기 후반기 중점 과제 중 하나다.

이번 협약에 따라 협약 참여기관은 △참여자 지원 △맞춤형 컨설팅 △규정개선 △보전금 지원 등 ‘0.5&0.75잡’ 제도 안착과 확대를 위해 공동 협력을 수행할 예정이다. 이들 기관은 늦어도 내년 1월까지는 모두 0.5&0.75잡을 시행하게 된다.

이번 협약에는 경기도일자리재단, 경기주택도시공사, 경기평택항만공사, 경기관광공사, 경기연구원, 경기신용보증재단, 한국도자재단, 경기콘텐츠진흥원, 경기아트센터, 경기도여성가족재단, 경기도농수산진흥원, 경기복지재단, 경기도평생교육진흥원, 차세대융합기술연구원, 경기도시장상권진흥원, 킨텍스, 경기도사회적경제원 등 17개 기관이 참여해 상호 협력을 통해 경기도 일·가정 양립 문화 확산에 협력하기로 약속했다.

경기도 일자리경제정책과의 한 관계자는 “0.5&0.75잡 제도를 활성화시켜 일과 가정이 양립할 수 있는 근무제도를 경기도가 선도하고 저출생 위기를 극복할 수 있기를 바란다”며, “올해 경기도 공공기관 대상 시범운영을 실시하고 내년부터 경기가족친화기업을 대상으로 사업을 확대하여 추진할 계획”이라고 말했다.
