경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 지난 12월 19일 공동 학습과 연구로 업무개선 방안을 모색한 우수 학습동아리 5개를 선정했다고 밝혔다.

경기도교육청이 선정한 우수학습동아리는 △크리에이터 학습동아리(수원); 인공지능을 활용한 보건 수업 연구 △청렴·프락시스(Praxis, 포천); 인공지능 챗봇 개발·모바일 앱 업데이트를 통한 청렴 플랫폼 구축 △참터지기(고양); 비합리적이고 관행적인 행정업무 개선 △액션(본청); 학교 작업환경 내 안전 보호구 착용 우수사례 홍보 △학교회계샘터(용인); ‘학교 주관공사가 된 18억 다목적 강당 증축 공사 추진 및 개선 방안’이 선정됐다.

경기도의 교사 학습동아리는 344개로 4,127명의 교직원들이 자발적으로 참여해 학습 교류, 경기교육 정책 연구, 업무개선 방안을 모색하고 있다.

경기도교육청은 실용성, 창의성, 노력도, 회원 참여도 기준에 따라 1차와 2차에 걸쳐 보고서 및 결과물 심사해 우수 학습동아리 5개를 선정했으며, 참가자 58명 전체에게 표창을 수여할 예정이다.

경기도교육청이 지난 10월 실시한 학습동아리 운영 설문조사에 따르면, 응답자 95%가 “실무와 관련한 학습정보를 습득하였고, 업무 수행능력 향상에 도움이 됐다”고 응답했다.

94%는 “경기교육 또는 교육행정 효율화와 관련해 지식의 폭이 확장됐다”고 답했다. 94.7%는 “차년도 학습동아리에 참여할 의향이 있다”고 응답해 공동 학습에 적극적인 의지를 보였다.

경기도교육청은 학습동아리 결과물을 누리집에 게시해 현장에 공유하고 현장 교사들의 참여를 확산할 계획이다.

‘크리에이터 학습동아리’에 참여한 한 교사는 “에듀테크를 활용해 보건 수업에 적용하고 학습동아리에서 수업 사례 발표와 피드백으로 수업 전문가로서 역량을 키웠다”고 말했다.

‘참터지기 학습동아리’에 참여한 한 교직원은 “평소 관행적으로 처리했던 업무를 돌아보고 개선점을 찾는 유익한 시간이었다”라며 “선후배 간 업무추진 어려움을 공유하고 해결책을 찾아가며 성장할 수 있었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

경기도교육청 김승호 학교업무개선담당관은 “교직원들이 관심 분야에 대해 공동 학습하는 문화가 인상깊었다”라며 “교육 현장에 학습 교류가 활성화되도록 지원하고 학습동아리 결과물이 정책에 반영될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
