의왕시가 지난 12월 31일 열린 종무식에서 ‘2024년 하반기 적극행정 우수사례 경진대회’를 개최하고 우수사례 7건을 선정해 시상했다.

이번 경진대회에서는 대중교통과의 ‘위례∼과천선 의왕연장 사업 경기도 철도 기본계획 반영(위례∼과천선 의왕연장 사업)’이 최우수상을 수상했다. 이 사업은 국토부와 경기도에 적극적으로 사업성 및 당위성을 건의하고, 관련기관과 협의를 지속한 결과 경기도 철도기본계획에 반영된 사례다. 그 성과는 의왕시민의 출퇴근 여건 개선에 크게 기여할 것으로 평가받으며, 업무 난이도, 적극성, 시민 체감도에서 높은 점수를 받았다.

우수상은 △건축과 ‘건축행정 대민서비스 지원으로 시민 편의 UP(건축물대장 현황도 작성 지원)’ △보건행정과 ‘거동불편자를 위한 방문 예방접종은 꼭 이루어져야 한다(경기도 최초 주간보호센터와 장애인시설 방문 예방접종서비스 실시)’가 선정됐다.

이번 경진대회에서는 2024년 한 해 동안 적극적인 업무처리로 좋은 성과를 얻은 19건의 사례가 심사 대상에 올랐다. 1차 실무심사와 2차 온라인 투표, 최종 적극행정위원회 심사를 거쳐 최우수상 1건, 우수상 2건, 장려상 4건이 선정됐다.

김성제 의왕시장은 “앞으로도 지속적인 적극행정 우수사례 발굴을 통해 시민 불편을 해소하고, 성과를 낸 직원들에게는 그에 따른 인사상 인센티브를 제공하여 시민이 체감할 수 있는 적극 행정을 지속적으로 펼치겠다”고 말했다.

Uiwang City held the ‘2nd half of 2024 active administration best practice competition’ at the year-end ceremony held on December 31st and selected and awarded 7 excellent cases.

In this competition, ‘Wirye-Gwacheon Line Uiwang extension project Gyeonggi-do railway basic plan reflection (Wirye-Gwacheon Line Uiwang extension project)’ with public transportation won the grand prize. This project is a case that was reflected in the Gyeonggi-do railway basic plan as a result of actively suggesting the feasibility and legitimacy of the project to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Gyeonggi-do and continuing consultations with related organizations. The results are evaluated to greatly contribute to improving the commuting conditions of Uiwang citizens, and received high scores in task difficulty, proactiveness, and citizen perception.
