경기도의회 도시환경위원회 김옥순 의원(더불어민주, 비례)이 지난 12월 27일 ‘2024년 경기도의회 행정사무감사 우수의원’으로 선정됐다.

김옥순 의원은 도정에 대한 심도있는 분석을 통해 실효성 있는 정책대안을 제시한 공로를 인정받았다. 경기도의회는 행정사무감사 기간 동안 적극적인 감사 활동과 책임 있는 의정활동으로 도민의 삶의 질 향상에 기여한 의원을 우수의원으로 선정해 시상하고 있다.

김옥순 의원은 지난 11월 행정사무감사에서 △리튬 2차전지 및 폐의약품 수거함 안전관리 강화 촉구, △경기주택도시공사(GH) 행복주택 주민공동이용시설의 효율적 활용 방안 제시, △ ‘전력자립 10만가구 프로젝트’ 도비 지원 확대 및 사업 홍보 강화 등 실효성 있는 정책 대안을 제시해 그 공로를 인정받았다.

김 의원은 특히 전세사기 피해자들이 안정적인 주거환경에서 생활할 수 있도록 △긴급복구 지원체계 마련, △피해주택의 정기적인 안전 점검, △시설 유지·관리를 위한 선제적 지원방안 등을 제안하며 도민 주거권 보장을 위해 힘썼다.

김옥순 의원은 수상 소감으로 “도민들의 의견을 반영하여 정책을 발굴하고 추진하는 것이 의원의 책임이라고 생각한다”며, “앞으로도 지역 현안을 꼼꼼히 살피고, 도민들이 실질적으로 체감할 수 있는 변화를 이끌어 내기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Rep. Kim Ok-soon (Democratic Party, proportional representation) of the Urban Environment Committee of Gyeonggi Provincial Council was selected as the ‘2024 Excellent Member of Administrative Audit of Gyeonggi Provincial Council’ on December 27.

Rep. Kim Ok-soon was recognized for her contribution to presenting effective policy alternatives through in-depth analysis of provincial administration. Gyeonggi Provincial Council selects and awards excellent members of the council who have contributed to improving the quality of life of residents through active audit activities and responsible parliamentary activities during the administrative audit period. In November, Rep. Kim Ok-soon was recognized for her contributions to the administrative audit by suggesting effective policy alternatives, including △ urging for strengthened safety management of lithium secondary batteries and waste medicine collection boxes, △ presenting efficient utilization plans for the Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) Happy Housing resident-community facilities, △ expanding provincial support for the ‘100,000 Electricity Self-Sufficiency Household Project’ and strengthening project promotion.
