경기도의회 건설교통위원회 김성수 의원(더불어민주당, 안양1)이 경기도의회 ‘2024년 행정사무감사 우수위원’으로 선정돼 저간의 의정활동과 성과를 인정받았다.

김 의원은 제11대 후반기 건설교통위원회 행정사무감사에서, 1,410만 경기도민이 일상생활 속에서 느끼는 어려움을 토대로 경기도 건설·교통 분야 행정의 문제점과 미비점을 정확히 진단하고, 이를 개선하기 위한 대안을 적극적으로 제시하는 등 ‘현장 중심 의정 활동’으로 호평 받았다.

김성수 의원은 특히 △서울시 버스 노선의 경기도 운행구간 폐선에 따른 대체노선 신설 대책, △인천 2호선의 안양 연장 추진 계획, △경부선 안양구간 철도지하화사업 선도사업 추진 계획, △내실 있는 어린이 자전거 교육 추진 방안 등 도민들의 이동권 보장 및 편익 향상을 위한 대중교통 활성화 방안을 집중적으로 질의하고 정책적 대안을 제시하는 등 도민들의 삶의 질 향상에 크게 기여했다.
