임태희 경기도교육감이 지난 1월 2일 아침, 양주시 현충탑을 찾아 참배하며 2025 을사년 새해 공식 일정을 시작했다.

임 교육감은 “부민강국(富民强國)! 경기교육이 이루겠습니다”라는 문구를 방명록에 작성하며 2025년 경기교육의 희망찬 출발을 다짐했다.

임태희 교육감은 2023년 새해 아침에는 의정부시 현충탑을, 2024년에는 성남시 현충탑을 찾아 참배하고 공식 일정을 시작했다. 앞으로도 경기도내에 위치한 순국선열과 호국영령을 기리는 주요 시설을 방문해 참배를 이어갈 예정이다.

이날 양주시 현충탑 참배에는 임태희 교육감을 비롯해 홍정표 제2부교육감, 교육정책국장, 융합교육국장, 감사관, 운영지원과장, 지방공무원인사과장, 동두천양주교육지원청 교육장 등 여러 직원들과 함께했다.

임 교육감 일행은 현충탑에 헌화, 분향하고 일동 묵념으로 순국선열과 호국영령의 넋을 기렸다.

Gyeonggi Province Superintendent of Education Lim Tae-hee visited the Yangju City Memorial Tower on the morning of January 2 to begin his official schedule for the new year of 2025.

Superintendent Lim wrote in the guestbook, “A rich and strong nation! Gyeonggi education will achieve it” and pledged a hopeful start for Gyeonggi education in 2025.

Superintendent of Education Lim Tae-hee visited the Uijeongbu City Memorial Tower on the morning of the New Year in 2023 and the Seongnam City Memorial Tower in 2024 to begin his official schedule. He plans to continue visiting major facilities in Gyeonggi Province that honor the patriotic ancestors and spirits who protected the country.

On this day, the Yangju City Memorial Tower was visited by Superintendent of Education Lim Tae-hee, Second Vice Superintendent of Education Hong Jeong-pyo, the Director of the Education Policy Bureau, the Director of the Convergence Education Bureau, the Auditor, the Director of the Operation Support Division, the Director of the Local Government Personnel Division, and the Superintendent of the Dongducheon-Yangju Office of Education, along with many other staff members. Superintendent Lim and his party paid tribute to the spirits of the patriotic ancestors and the spirits of those who died for their country by offering flowers and incense at the memorial tower and holding a moment of silence.
