안양시는 경기도 주관 ‘2024년 시군종합평가’에서 우수기관에 선정돼 기관 표창과 함께 상사업비 1억원을 확보했다고 지난 1월 5일 밝혔다.

안양시는 총 104개의 평가지표 중 102개 지표에서 최고등급인 S등급을 달성했다. 안양시는 시민 삶에 밀접한 관련이 있는 △노인 일자리 확대 △취업지원 서비스 달성률 △주민 1인당 재활용 가능자원 분리수거량 △재해위험지역 점검・관리 이행 실적 등 시민의 삶에 밀접한 관련이 있는 지표에서 특히 높은 점수를 받았다.

경기도 시군종합평가는 도내 31개 시군을 대상으로 국정과 도정 주요 시책지표를 통해 지자체의 행정력을 평가하는 가장 객관적이고 공신력 있는 평가로, 안양시는 인구 50만 이상 10개 도시 가운데 5위로 장려상을 수상했다.

안양시는 지난해 12월 27일 오전 10시 시청 3층 접견실에서 전수식을 가졌다.

최대호 안양시장은 “이번 성과는 시민의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 안양시 전 직원이 합심해 이뤄낸 결과”라며 “앞으로도 시민이 체감할 수 있는 최상의 행정서비스를 제공해 안양시민에게 자부심을 줄 수 있는 행복도시를 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
