경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 지난 2월 10일 보도자료를 통해 중‧고등학교 특성에 맞게 인성교육과정 설계, 교재 구성, 수업, 공유와 나눔의 전 과정을 진행하기 위한 종합적 지원체계인 ‘인성더하기 프로젝트’를 본격 추진해 학교 맞춤형 인성교육을 활성화하겠다고 밝혔다.

‘인성더하기 프로젝트’ 추진을 위해 학교는 인성교육 내용과 성취기준이 수록된 ‘인성더하기 교재’를 활용해 자율적으로 ‘우리 학교만의 인성교육과정’을 설계한다. 인성 덕목, 운영 시기, 교육 여건에 따라 교재를 자유롭게 재구성해 학교에 특화된 인성교육을 운영할 수 있다.

경기도교육청은 이번 프로젝트의 시작을 알리는 ‘인성더하기 교재’ 발간 보고회를 2월 11일 남부청사에서 개최한다. 이 자리에는 교육지원청 담당자와 초·중등교원 200여 명이 참석한다.

‘인성더하기 교재’는 △인성교육과정 설계를 위한 내용 체계-성취기준 자료집 △인성교육 블렌딩 가이드북 △역할극으로 인성더하기 △마음 돌보기로 인성더하기 4종으로 구성됐다.

교육과정 설계와 수업 실천, 역할극을 활용한 체험형 인성교육과 자기인식, 자기관리, 윤리적 책임, 대인관계기술, 사회적 협력 등 사회정서적 기술로 학생 중심 체험형 활동을 지원할 수 있다. 역할극과 마음 돌보기 교재는 초등학교에서도 활용할 수 있다.

경기도교육청은 중·고등학교에서 ‘우리 학교’에 맞는 인성교육을 실천할 수 있도록 교재 활용 교육과정 공유, 수업 나눔, 교재 활용 교원 연수 등 다각적 지원을 펼칠 계획이다.

‘인성더하기 교재’와 동영상 자료는 경기도교육청 누리집과 하이러닝 플랫폼에서 내려받을 수 있으며 성취기준 자료집, 학생용 활동지는 학교에 맞게 수정과 재구성이 가능하도록 한글 파일로도 보급한다.

경기도교육청 이지명 생활인성교육과장은 “‘인성더하기 프로젝트’로 유연한 인성교육과정 편성․실천 기준을 제시하고 학교 선택권을 강화하여 학교 맞춤형 인성교육을 활성화하겠다”고 말했다.

On February 10, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) announced through a press release that it would fully promote the ‘Character Plus Project’, a comprehensive support system for designing character education curriculum, textbook composition, classes, sharing and sharing tailored to the characteristics of middle and high schools, and revitalize customized character education for schools.

To promote the ‘Character Plus Project’, schools will use the ‘Character Plus Textbook’ containing character education content and achievement standards to autonomously design ‘our school’s own character education curriculum’. They can freely reconfigure the textbook according to character virtues, operation period, and educational conditions to operate character education specialized for their school.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold a ‘Character Plus Textbook’ publication report meeting to announce the start of this project at the Southern Office Building on February 11. About 200 people, including education support office officials and elementary and middle school teachers, will attend this event.

The ‘Character Plus Textbook’ consists of four types: △Content System for Character Education Curriculum Design - Achievement Standards Data Collection △Character Education Blending Guidebook △Character Plus through Role Play △Character Plus through Mind Care.

It can support student-centered experiential activities through curriculum design and class practice, experiential character education using role play, and social and emotional skills such as self-awareness, self-management, ethical responsibility, interpersonal skills, and social cooperation. Role play and Mind Care textbooks can also be used in elementary schools.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to provide multifaceted support, such as sharing curriculum utilizing textbooks, class sharing, and teacher training utilizing textbooks, so that middle and high schools can practice character education that suits ‘our school.’

The ‘Character Plus textbook’ and video materials can be downloaded from the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education website and the Hi-Learning platform, and the achievement standard data booklet and student activity sheets are also distributed as Hangul files so that they can be modified and reorganized to suit schools.

Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Life Character Education Division Director Lee Ji-myeong said, “With the ‘Character Plus Project,’ we will present flexible character education curriculum composition and implementation standards and strengthen school choice to activate customized character education for schools.”
