안양문화예술재단(이사장 최대호)이 오는 2월 22일 오후 2시 평촌아트홀에서 ‘천방지축 폴리와 폴라의 우당탕탕 상상여행’이란 슬로건 아래 겨울방학 동안 가족과 함께 즐길 수 있는 어린이 뮤지컬 ‘폴리팝’을 공연한다.

뮤지컬 ‘폴리팝’은 브러쉬씨어터의 대표작 ‘두들팝’의 두 번째 시리즈로, 미디어아트를 중심으로 한 최신 기술을 접목해 주인공 폴리와 폴라의 환상적인 꿈속 여행을 무대에서 선보인다.

특히, 대상물의 표면에 빛으로 이뤄진 영상을 투사하는 영상 기술인 ‘프로젝션 맵핑’ 기술은 집에서 사막, 사막에서 정글, 정글에서 우주로 변신하는 무대를 선보이며 어린이들의 호기심과 상상력을 자극해 아이들에게 큰 즐거움을 선사할 것으로 기대된다.
