군포시(시장 하은호)가 지난 2월 17일 전국 기초 지방자치단체 최초로 고용노동부 신규 공모사업인 ‘2025 청년성장 프로젝트’에 선정돼 국비 1억2,200만 원을 확보했다.

고용노동부가 ​지난해 청년들이 구직을 단념하지 않도록 공모사업으로 ‘청년성장프로젝트’를 도입했고, 올해부터 기초지자체가 단독운영 신청할 수 있게 전환해 공모를 진행했다. 군포시는 이중 ‘청년카페’ 운영분야 사업 대상지로 최종 선정됐다.

‘2025 청년성장 프로젝트’의 사업 대상은 15~39세 청년 연인원 520명이며, 사업내용은 △취업준비 프로그램(단계별 취준클래스, 진로컨설팅, 일경험지원) △존중 프로그램(집단심리상담, 일상지원 힐링프로그램)이다.

군포시는 청년공간플라잉을 거점으로 다음달부터 매월 1일부터 10일까지 초기상담을 통해 사업 대상자를 △초기 사회 진입 △경력재설계 △구직단념 예방 청년으로 구분해 일상 및 구직의욕 유지를 위한 맞춤형 역량강화 프로그램과 심리지원서비스를 지원할 계획이다.

또한 참여자들의 보다 성공적인 취·창업 지원을 위해 청년공간 플라잉에서 운영하는 청플 취준 올인원 패키지(면접정장 대여, 헤어·메이크업 서비스, AI 모의면접 등)와도 연계해 추진할 계획이다.

하은호 군포시장은 “청년들이 직면한 시급한 문제 중의 하나가 바로 경제활동인구조사에서 ‘쉬었음’이라고 응답하는 청년”이라며, “앞으로도 청년이 체감할 수 있는 다양한 일자리 사업과 활동지원을 통해 청년이 행복한 미래가치 도시 군포를 만들기 위해 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Last year, the Ministry of Employment and Labor introduced the ‘Youth Growth Project’ as a public offering project to prevent young people from giving up on finding jobs, and starting this year, it has changed the application process to allow local governments to operate independently and has conducted public offerings. Gunpo City was finally selected as the target site for the ‘Youth Café’ operation project.
