안양시가 경기주택도시공사(GH), 안양도시공사와 기본협약을 체결, 인덕원 주변 도시개발사업을 본격적으로 추진한다.

안양시는 3월 14일 오전 10시 시청 3층 접견실에서 최대호 안양시장, 이종선 경기주택도시공사 사장 직무대행(부사장), 김병근 안양도시공사 사장 직무대행(경영기획본부장) 등이 참석한 가운데 인덕원 주변 도시개발사업 공동사업 시행 협약식을 개최했다.

인덕원 주변 도시개발사업은 인덕원역 주변 약 15만987제곱미터(㎡) 부지를 인재·기업·청년이 모이는 창조적 중심지로 조성하는 사업이다.

이번 협약의 핵심 내용은 인덕원 주변 도시개발사업의 성공적인 완수를 위해 각 기관이 도시개발사업의 공동시행자로서 효율적 업무수행, 상호협력 강화 방안, 참여지분율 등에 관한 것이다.

협약에 따라 안양시 20%, 경기주택도시공사 60%, 안양도시공사 20%의 지분율로 인덕원 주변 도시개발사업에 참여한다.

안양시는 개발사업 인허가 및 실무협의체 운영을 맡아 공공주도의 사업을 조율하는 역할을 하고, 경기주택도시공사는 사업계획수립·보상·공사 등 사업을 전반적으로 수행하며, 안양도시공사는 갈현천 유로변경, 훼손지 복구사업 등을 추진해 원활한 사업 진행을 위해 노력하기로 했다.

인덕원은 기존 지하철 4호선에 더해 수도권광역급행철도(GTX)-C노선, 월곶~판교선, 인덕원~동탄선 등 다양한 철도망이 연결되는 ‘4중 역세권’의 장점을 살려 직장·주거·문화시설 등에 10분 안에 접근할 수 있는 ‘텐텐 콤팩트시티’ 개발을 목표로 하고 있다.
