의왕시가 행정안전부가 실시한 ‘2024년 지방자치단체 적극행정 종합평가’에서 우수기관으로 선정됐다. 행정안전부는 지난 3월 24일 243개 지방자치단체(광역 17, 기초 226)를 대상으로 실시한 ‘2024년 지방자치단체 적극행정 종합평가’ 결과를 공개했다.

특히, 전국 최초로 시도된 24시간 연중 빠른 교통 민원 처리를 위한 ‘교통지도 민원 ARS-문자 시스템 구축’이 혁신적인 사례로 주목을 받았다.
행안부는 광역, 시, 군, 구 4개 평가군으로 나누어 적극행정 추진 실적 관련 제도개선, 활성화 노력, 이행성과, 체감도, 기타(협업) 등 적극행정 평가 5개 항목 17개 세부지표에 대해 평가했다.
평가 결과, 인천광역시, 경기 수원시, 전남 해남군, 서울 중구가 부문별 최우수 기관으로 선정되고 경기도, 안양시, 의왕시 등 상위 30%에 해당하는 총 73개 지방자치단체(광역 5, 기초 68)가 우수기관으로 선정됐다.
김성제 의왕시장은 “주민들이 체감할 수 있는 적극 행정을 펼친 공직자들의 노력으로 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다”며, “앞으로도 시민들의 다양한 요구와 문제를 신속하고 효과적으로 해결해 더욱 수준 높은 행정서비스를 제공하는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Uiwang City was selected as an excellent institution in the ‘2024 Comprehensive Evaluation of Local Government Proactive Administration’ conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
