경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 지난 3월 28일 ‘2026학년도 경기도 고등학교 입학전형 기본계획’과 주요 전형 일정을 발표했다.

2026학년도 고등학교 입학전형은 중학교 내신 성적과 학교생활기록부 기재 내용을 중심으로 전기와 후기 학교로 나눠서 선발하고, 진행한다.

전기 학교는 △과학고 △마이스터고 △예술고 △체육고 △특성화고 △일반고 특성화학과가 해당되며, 전형 기간은 8월 25일부터 12월 1일까지.

후기 학교는 △일반고 △자율형 공립고 △외국어고 △국제고 △자율형 사립고로, 전형 기간은 12월 5일부터 2026년 2월 6일까지.

전형 방법은 지난해와 마찬가지로 중학교 교과 성적은 과목별 성취도와 원점수만 반영하고, 봉사활동 실적은 3년 동안 15시간 이상을 만점으로, 수상 실적은 한 학기당 교내 상 한 개씩만 반영한다.

경기도교육청은 2026학년도 고등학교 입학전형 운영과 관련해 학생의 고교 선택권을 보장하면서 공정하고 타당하게 진행할 수 있도록 최선을 다할 방침이다.

2025학년도 중학교 입학생부터 적용되는 2028학년도 고입 내신 성적에는 봉사활동 실적을 제외하고 출결상황을 강화할 예정이다.

First semester admissions to begin on August 25, second semester admissions to begin on December 5

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) announced the ‘2026 Gyeonggi Province High School Admissions Basic Plan’ and major admission schedules on March 28.

The 2026 high school admissions will be divided into first and second semester schools and conducted based on middle school grades and school life records.

The first semester schools include △Science High Schools △Meister High Schools △Arts High Schools △Physical Education High Schools △Specialized High Schools △General High Schools Specialized Departments, and the admissions period is from August 25 to December 1.

The schools are △general high schools △autonomous public high schools △foreign language high schools △international high schools △autonomous private high schools, and the selection period is from December 5 to February 6, 2026.

The selection method is the same as last year, reflecting only the achievement and raw score of each subject for middle school grades, and the full score for volunteer work performance of 15 hours or more over three years, and only one award per semester is reflected for awards.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to do its best to ensure that the 2026 high school admissions process is fair and reasonable while guaranteeing students’ right to choose their high school.
