경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 지난 3월 26일 다산한강초등학교에서 ‘2025 상호존중 학교 문화 조성을 위한 교육공동체 약속 선포식’을 개최했다.

경기도교육청은 학생, 학부모, 교직원의 균형 있는 권리와 책임을 바탕으로 서로 존중하는 학교 문화를 확산하기 위해서 이번 행사를 기획했다.

임태희 교육감을 비롯해 구리·남양주 지자체 기관장, 경기도의원, 다산한강초 학생, 학부모, 교직원 등 총 300여 명의 선포식 참석자들은 다산한강초등학교 구성원의 인터뷰 영상을 시청하고, 학생·학부모·교직원 대표가 함께 교육공동체 약속을 선포하며 실천 의지를 다졌다.

이날 임태희 교육감이 다산한강초등학교에 ‘상호존중 학교 문화 조성 자율 운영교’ 현판을 수여해 행사의 의미를 더했다.

교육공동체 소통 간담회로 마무리된 이번 선포식은 올해 초 제정된 ‘경기도교육청 교육공동체의 권리와 책임에 관한 조례’ 제정(2025.1.17.)에 따라 추진됐다.

경기도교육청은 교육지원청, 학교와 연계한 적극적인 홍보로 교육공동체 약속 만들기 문화를 확산할 계획이다.

임태희 교육감은 “오늘 선포식은 새로운 학교 공동체 문화를 만드는 첫걸음이다”라고 말하며, “교육공동체가 자율적으로 서로 존중하고 배려하는 문화를 조성한다면, 학교를 넘어 대한민국의 많은 갈등을 해결하는 큰 동력이 될 것이다”라고 강조했다.

Efforts to Spread a School Culture of Mutual Respect Based on the Rights and Responsibilities of Students, Parents, and Faculty

On March 26, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) held the ‘2025 Education Community Promise Declaration Ceremony for Creating a Culture of Mutual Respect’ at Dasan Hangang Elementary School.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education planned this event to spread a school culture of mutual respect based on the balanced rights and responsibilities of students, parents, and faculty.

A total of 300 attendees of the declaration ceremony, including Superintendent Lim Tae-hee, heads of local governments in Guri and Namyangju, Gyeonggi Provincial Council members, Dasan Hangang Elementary School students, parents, and faculty, watched interview videos of Dasan Hangang Elementary School members, and students, parents, and faculty members declared the Education Community Promise together to strengthen their will to put it into practice.

On this day, Superintendent Lim Tae-hee presented a plaque to Dasan Hangang Elementary School titled ‘Autonomous School for Creating a Mutually Respected School Culture’, adding meaning to the event.

This declaration ceremony, which concluded with an educational community communication meeting, was promoted in accordance with the ‘Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Education Community Rights and Responsibilities Ordinance’ enacted early this year (January 17, 2025).

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to spread the culture of making promises in the educational community through active promotion in conjunction with educational support offices and schools.

Superintendent Lim Tae-hee said, “Today’s declaration ceremony is the first step toward creating a new school community culture,” and emphasized, “If the educational community autonomously creates a culture of mutual respect and consideration, it will be a great driving force to resolve many conflicts in Korea beyond schools.”
