군포시가 지난 5월 24일 세계 가정의 날(5월 15일)과 세계인의 날(5월 20일)을 기념해 산본로데오거리에서 다양한 문화를 가진 가족들이 함께 즐기는 ‘다(多)양한 가족 다(多)같이 가족어울림축제’를 개최했다.

군포시가 주최하고 군포시가족센터 주관하여 열린 이날 행사에는 하은호 시장과 이학영 국회부의장, 김귀근 군포시의회의장, 시·도의원 등 주요 내빈과 군포시의 다양한 가족들이 참여했다.

이날 행사는 가정의 달 기념 화합퍼포먼스(사물놀이, 세계의상퍼레이드) 공연을 시작으로 가족정책에 기여한 6명의 유공자에 대한 표창, 다양한 국적의 가족들이 참여한 좋은부모되기운동 선서, 12개의 다양한 공연 등의 순서로 진행됐다.

이와 함께 상설행사로 가족사랑 Zone, 세대이해 Zone, 문화이해 Zone으로 나눠진 28개의 체험부스를 통해 가족이 함께 참여해 가족 간의 유대를 쌓는 시간과 함께 다른 가족과도 함께 즐길 수 있는 가족간 교류의 장이 조성됐고, 군포시가 추진하는 다양한 가족 정책과 사업을 알리는 자리도 마련돼 의미를 더했다.

하은호 군포시장은 인사말에서 “오늘 이 자리는 가족 간의 사랑을 되새기고 다양한 문화가 어우러지는 공동체로서의 가치를 나누는 축제이며 이번 축제가 서로를 이해하고 하나 되는 진정한 어울림의 장이 되기를 바란다”며, “앞으로도 세대와 문화를 아우르는 포용적 공동체를 위해, 모두가 함께 웃고 살아갈 수 있는 환경을 조성하는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

On May 24, Gunpo City held the ‘Diverse Families Together Family Festival’ at Sanbon Rodeo Street to celebrate World Family Day (May 15) and World People’s Day (May 20), where families with diverse cultures could enjoy themselves together.

Hosted by Gunpo City and organized by Gunpo City Family Center, the event was attended by Mayor Ha Eun-ho, National Assembly Vice-Chairman Lee Hak-young, Gunpo City Council Chairman Kim Gwi-geun, city and provincial council members, and various families from Gunpo City. The event began with a commemorative performance of the Family Month (Samulnori, World Costume Parade), followed by awards for six individuals who contributed to family policies, a pledge to become good parents with families of various nationalities, and 12 other performances.

In addition, there were 28 experiential booths divided into the Family Love Zone, Generational Understanding Zone, and Cultural Understanding Zone as permanent events, where families could participate together to build bonds and enjoy the event with other families, creating a place for family exchanges. It also provided a place to learn about the various family policies and projects being promoted by Gunpo City, adding to its meaning.

In his opening remarks, Mayor Ha Eun-ho of Gunpo City said, “Today, this event is a festival to reflect on the love between families and share the value of a community where various cultures come together, and I hope that this festival will become a place of true harmony where we understand each other and become one.” He added, “We will continue to do our best to create an environment where everyone can laugh and live together for an inclusive community that embraces generations and cultures.”
