먹사니즘 경기네트워크(권역대표 조용덕)가 지난 5월 29일 오후 의왕시 내손동 상인연합회 가게에서 지역상권 회복 상생방안을 모색하기 위해 소상공인과 함께하는 ‘경청투어 정책간담회’를 개최했다. 이날 간담회는 침체된 내수 경기 여파로 경영난을 겪고 있는 소상공인들의 현장 목소리를 청취하고 지역상권 활성화를 위한 상생방안 등을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.

먹사니즘 전국 네트워크는 더불어민주당 서영교 국회의원이 상임공동대표, 진석범 상임공동대표를 맡고 있는 전국 단위의 민생경제네트워크로 이재명 더불어민주당 대통령 후보가 제시한 민생중심 철학을 구현하는 정책 제시 및 실천 활동을 펼치고 있다.

간담회에는 먹사니즘 경기도네트워크 조용덕 대표, 손봉조 안양시 소상공인협회 조합연합회장, 김종찬 먹사니즘 안양 공동대표, 성기황 먹사니즘 군포 상임대표(경기도의원), 김재덕 먹사니즘 군포 공동대표, 먹사니즘 의왕 송정우 상임대표, 기길운 공동대표, 전경숙·김봉영 등 소상공인 자영업자 20여 명이 참석했다.

조용덕 대표는 인사말에서 “코로나19 후유증이 아직 해소되지 않는 상황에서 윤석열 정부의 민생경제 실패 등으로 내수 경기가 심각하게 타격을 입었다”며, “차기 정부는 대통령 직속의 민생대응 TF를 구성해 지역경제 활성화에 최우선적으로 즉각 대응해야 한다”고 말했다.

간담회에 참석한 상인들은 지역화폐 및 온누리상품권 예산 확대, 코로나 대출 상환 유예, 재래시장에 대한 1회성 지원 중단과 골목상권이 지속가능하게 발전할 수 있도록 지역정책이 필요하다고 말했다.

먹사니즘 의왕 송정우 상임대표는 “앞으로 골목형 상점가를 많이 지정해 골목상권이 살아날 수 있도록 정부와 지자체에서 더욱 관심을 가지고 발전시켜 줘야 한다”고 말했다.

조용덕 대표는 “이날 간담회에서 제시된 의견 등을 먹사니즘 전국 네트워크 위원회에 전달해서 차기 정부 및 대통령 후보 국정과제 중의 민생정책에 반영될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
