안양시가 행정안전부 주관 ‘2025년 지자체 적극행정 종합평가’에서 5년 연속 우수기관으로 선정된 데 이어 우수기관 중에서도 시 부문 2위를 기록해 2년 연속으로 행안부 장관상을 수상했다고 지난 5월 30일 밝혔다.

안양시는 이번 평가에서 적극행정 우수공무원 선발 및 적극행정 중점과제 선정 시민투표 등을 통한 시민 체감도 향상과 적극행정 마일리지 제도 확대 운영 등 적극행정 공직문화 활성화를 위해 노력한 점을 인정받았다.

2025년 지자체 적극행정 종합평가는 전국 243개 지자체를 대상으로 지난해의 △적극행정 실행계획 수립 △기관 노력도 △적극행정 이행성과 △우수사례 및 시민 체감도 등 17개 지표를 평가해 상위 30%를 우수기관으로 선정한다.

안양시는 타 지자체와의 경계에 있어 보행로가 단절돼 주민들이 교통사고에 노출돼있던 문제를 해당 보행로 인근 주민 및 타 지자체 관계자들과 지속적인 협의 및 설득 끝에 해결한 사례가 긍정적인 평가를 받았다.

최대호 안양시장은 “시민을 위한 행정을 실천한 공직자들의 노력과 열정이 만들어낸 값진 결과”라며 “앞으로도 시민이 체감할 수 있는 적극행정을 펼치겠다”고 전했다.

Anyang City announced on May 30 that it was selected as an excellent organization for 5 consecutive years in the ‘2025 Comprehensive Evaluation of Local Government Proactive Administration’ hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and ranked 2nd in the city category among excellent organizations, winning the Minister of Public Administration and Security Award for 2 consecutive years.

In this evaluation, Anyang City was recognized for its efforts to revitalize the culture of proactive administration by improving citizen awareness through selection of excellent civil servants for proactive administration and citizen voting for selection of priority tasks for proactive administration, as well as expanding the mileage system for proactive administration. The 2025 Comprehensive Evaluation of Local Government Active Administration will evaluate 17 indicators, including △Establishment of Active Administration Implementation Plans, △Institutional Efforts, △Active Administration Implementation Results, △Best Practices and Citizen Perceptions, of 243 local governments nationwide in the previous year, and select the top 30% as excellent organizations.

Anyang City received a positive evaluation for resolving the issue of residents being exposed to traffic accidents due to a disconnected pedestrian walkway on the border with another local government after continuous consultation and persuasion with residents near the walkway and officials from other local governments.
