2040 군포도시기본계획 수립을 위해 군포시가 운영한 시민계획단이 성과발표회 및 미래상 전달식을 가지며 한 달 간의 활동을 마무리했다.

시민계획단은 지난 5월 31일 군포시청에서 열린 발표회에서 ‘스마트한 자족도시, 시민중심으로 재도약하는 군포’라는 슬로건을 군포시 발전의 미래상으로 제시했다.

군포시는 시민계획단이 제출한 시민 의견을 바탕으로 2040도시기본계획안을 마련해 공청회 등을 거쳐 내년 상반기에 확정할 계획이다.

시민계획단은 2040군포도시기본계획 수립 과정에서 주민의견을 적극 반영하기 위해기획된 것으로 공개모집으로 선정된 총 36명의 시민들이 참여해 4차례 회합을 통해 미래상과 추진과제를 선정했다.

도시·주택·교통 분야를 비롯해 산업·환경·안전, 문화·복지·관광 등 3개 분야로 나뉘어 운영된 시민계획단은 교통분야의 ‘GTX를 기반으로 한 신교통체계 구축’ 등 그간의 토론을 거쳐 도출한 다양한 성과물을 공유했다.

이날 참여한 시민계획단의 한 시민은 “이번 미래상은 AI 등 첨단기술의 미래 도시 구축, 양질의 일자리 창출과 주거환경 재정비로 우리 군포시의 재도약을 이루는데 시민이 중심이 되어 추진하자는 의미”라고 선정 취지를 밝혔다.

군포시 안동광 부시장은 미래상을 전달받고 “군포의 미래상과 추진과제를 도시기본계획에 반영해 바람이 아닌 현실이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”며, “한 달 동안 우리시 미래를 위해 황금 같은 주말을 아낌없이 내어주신 시민계획단의 열정에 감사 드린다”고 말했다.

At the presentation held at Gunpo City Hall on May 31, the Citizen Planning Group presented the slogan 'Smart Self-sufficient City, Gunpo Taking a Leap Forward with Citizens at the Center' as the future vision for Gunpo City's development.

Gunpo City plans to prepare the 2040 City Basic Plan based on the opinions of citizens submitted by the Citizen Planning Group and finalize it in the first half of next year after holding public hearings.
