안양시가 행정안전부가 주관한 ‘1분기 지방재정 신속집행 평가’에서 우수기관으로 선정돼 특별교부세 4,000만원을 확보했다고 지난 5월 28일 밝혔다.

안양시는 27일 오전 10시 시청 3층 전자회의실에서 김능식 부시장 주재로 상반기 신속집행 점검회의를 개최했다.

안양시는 1분기 신속집행 목표율을 행안부가 제시한 30.6%보다 4.4%p 높은 35%를 목표로 설정하고 소비진작 및 민생경제 회복을 위한 신속집행을 적극 추진해왔다.

안양시는 올해 초부터 행안부가 제시한 상반기 신속집행 목표율 55.1%보다 4.9%p 높은 60%를 목표로 설정해 예산 사업을 적극 추진하고 있다.

이날 회의에는 15개 부서의 부서장들이 참석해 1분기 우수기관 선정에 이어 상반기 평가에도 성과를 이어갈 수 있도록 사업예산 집행 실적과 주요 부진 사업에 대한 계획을 점검하고 목표 달성을 위한 방안을 모색했다.

안양시는 2분기에도 대규모 투자사업을 중심으로 시설비 등 사업예산 집행 현황을 수시 모니터링하고 점검 회의를 추가 개최하는 등 신속한 재정집행을 위한 노력을 이어나갈 예정이다.

안양시 김능식 부시장은 “안양시가 1분기에서 우수한 성과를 거둔 데는 여러 어려운 상황에서도 각 부서의 적극적인 사업 추진과 부서 간 협력이 큰 역할을 했다”며, “6월 말까지 신속집행 및 소비·투자 목표 달성을 위해 최선을 다해 달라”고 당부했다.
