경기도의회 의정정책추진단이 지난 7월 24일 농수산생명과학국, 기후환경에너지국, 수자원본부, 철도항만물류국, 균형발전기획실, 평화협력국, 축산동물복지국, 교통국과 등 경기도 8개 실·국과 정책 정담회를 개최했다.

이날 정담회에서는 농수산생명과학국 8건, 수자원본부 4건, 균형발전기획실 3건, 평화협력국 1건, 축산동물복지국 4건, 건설국 18건 등 실국별 주요 정책현안과 경기도의회 차원의 지원방안이 논의됐다.

이날 서성란 의원(국민의힘, 의왕2)은 “농수산물 도매시장은 도매거래 및 유통의 핵심 거점이지만 노후 시설화로 상인과 방문객에게 불편을 초래하고 있다”며 “효율적인 도매시장 운영을 위해 노후화된 시설을 개보수하여 이용 편의성을 높여야 한다”고 당부했다.

박재용 의원(더불어민주당, 비례)은 “주민들이 기피하는 소각장 등 자원회수시설에 대한 관리 및 이전 등은 많은 문제점이 발생하고 있는 현실”이라며, “경기도에서 지역주민들 모두가 납득할수 있도록 투명하고 공정하게 사업추진을 해달라”고 강조했다.

김선영 의원(더불어민주당, 비례)은 “하천의 생태 건강성을 회복시키고 도민이 쉬고 즐길 수 있는 하천환경 조성이 필요하다”며, “소중하고 아름다운 철새를 관찰하고 보관하기 위해 친환경적으로 조성하고, 탐조지 주변에 관측 장비 를갖추는 철새도래지 관광 활성화 및 탐조지 조성사업이 필요하다”고 제안했다.

이오수 의원(국민의힘, 수원9)은 “도심내 유휴 공간 활용 및 도민의 신체적.정신적 건강 증진을 위해 농업활동의 필요성이 증가하고 있다”며 “가정, 학교, 공공시설 등을 대상으로 공간 제약이 있는 도심에서 쉽게 도시농업에 참여할수 있도록 텃밭 상자 보급, 스마트팜 조성이 필요하다”고 제안했다.

오세풍 의원(국민의힘, 김포2)은 “오수관에 악취가 많아 많은 민원이 제기되고 있다며 도민의 삶의 질에 직접 연결되어 있는 기후환경국과 수자원본부에서 민원 해결을 위해 많은 노력을 해달라”고 당부했다.

이날 정담회에는 의정정책추진단 서성란·박재용·김선영·이오수·오세풍 위원, 경기도 농수산생명과학국장, 기후환경에너지국장, 수자원본부장, 평화협력국장, 교통국장 등 집행부 공무원 35명이 참석했다.
