의왕시가 오는 8월 22일까지 ‘의왕시 탄소중립 시민추진단’을 모집한다.

이번 시민참여단 모집은 올해 ‘제1차 의왕시 탄소중립·녹색성장 기본계획’ 수립에 따라, 시민과의 협치 강화를 통해 탄소중립 정책에 대한 시민들의 의견을 폭넓게 수렴하고 탄소중립 실천 문화를 확산하기 위해 추진된다.

시민추진단은 오는 9월 발대식을 시작으로 △워크숍 △기후 위기 적응대책 수립 및 이행점검 △캠페인 등 본격적인 활동에 돌입, 위촉일로부터 2년간 의왕시 탄소중립 정책 제안을 중심으로 탄소중립 시민 참여와 관련한 △행사 △포럼 △교육 등의 다양한 프로그램에 참여하게 된다.

시민추진단은 탄소중립 실천에 참여하고자 하는 의왕 시민이면 누구나 지원할 수 있다.

Uiwang City is recruiting members for the "Uiwang City Carbon Neutrality Citizens' Promotion Group" until August 22nd.

This recruitment initiative, in accordance with the establishment of the "First Uiwang City Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth Basic Plan" this year, aims to strengthen collaboration with citizens, gather a broad range of opinions on carbon neutrality policies, and promote a culture of carbon neutrality.

The Citizens' Promotion Group will begin its activities in earnest with an inaugural ceremony in September, including workshops, the development and implementation of climate crisis adaptation measures, and campaigns. For two years from the date of appointment, the group will participate in various programs related to carbon neutrality, including events, forums, and training, focusing on Uiwang City's carbon neutrality policy proposals.
