경기도가 지난 11월 19일부터 21일까지 울산전시컨벤션센터에서 사흘간 개최된 ‘2025 대한민국 지방시대 엑스포’에 참여해 미래성장 3대 프로젝트 ‘기후대응, 반도체, AI(인공지능)’를 알렸다.

‘2025 대한민국 지방시대 엑스포’는 정부의 지방자치분권 및 균형성장의 비전과 전략, 정책을 공유하고, 여러 주체들이 그 실현 의지를 다지는 공유와 협력의 장을 만들고자 지방시대위원회, 행정안전부, 산업통상자원부, 울산광역시가 공동 주최하는 행사.

경기도관은 대한민국 미래성장 3대 프로젝트라는 주제로 △기후대응: 도민 모두를 위한 기후보험, 대한민국 최초 지방정부 주도 경기기후위성 등, △반도체: K-반도체의 심장, 경기도 반도체 메가클러스터 등, △AI: 지방정부 최초 주권을 갖고 있는 인공지능 AI인 경기 생성형 AI 등, 총 3개 분야의 주요 정책 중심으로 전시관을 운영했다.

‘기후대응’ 분야는 경기도가 전국 최초로 도입한 기후 위기 속 도민의 건강을 위한 선제적 대응인 ‘기후보험’과 작은 실천이 만드는 큰 보상 ‘기후행동 기회소득’ 정책 홍보, 대한민국 최초 지방정부 주도 기후대응 전용 위성인 경기기후위성 및 발사체 모형 전시 등을 통해 경기도의 기후대응 주요 정책을 홍보했다.

‘AI’ 분야는 “AI와 함께하는 행정의 새로운 시대, ‘경기 소버린 AI’, ‘경기 생성형 AI’”를 주제로 경기 생성형 AI 플랫폼 구현, 대한민국 콘텐츠 어워즈 입상작 영상 상영, 경기도 AI 비전 및 전략을 홍보하는 전시 등으로 경기도 AI 산업의 밝은 미래를 선보였다.
