과천시는 공공시설을 예식 공간으로 제공하고 예식 비용을 지원하는 공공 예식장 사업 ‘과천 함께 웨딩’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 예비부부가 합리적인 비용으로 의미 있는 결혼식을 올릴 수 있도록 돕기 위한 것으로, 과천시에서는 올해 신규 사업으로 선정됐다.

시는 추사박물관 내 과지초당과 과천문화원 야외무대 등 두 곳을 공공 예식장으로 지정해 소규모 예식을 진행할 수 있도록 하고, 이곳에서 결혼식을 올리는 예비부부에게 한 쌍당 최대 100만 원의 예식 비용을 지원한다.

예비부부는 본인이 원하는 결혼전문업체를 통해 예식 세팅, 진행, 뒷정리까지 자율적으로 준비하고, 결혼식 당일 발생한 식사비와 예식 운영비 등 관련 비용을 정산한 뒤, 시에 지원금을 신청하면 된다.

Gwacheon City announced the launch of "Gwacheon Together Wedding," a public wedding venue project that will provide wedding venues in public facilities and subsidize wedding costs.

This project, designed to help couples-to-be hold meaningful weddings at a reasonable cost, was selected as a new project for Gwacheon City this year.

The city has designated two public wedding venues—Gwaji Chodang in the Chusa Museum and the outdoor stage at the Gwacheon Cultural Center—for small-scale weddings. Couples who hold their weddings there will receive up to 1 million won in support per couple.
