김진경 경기도의회 의장(민주·시흥3)이 소방분야 근무환경 및 처우 개선 노력의 공로를 인정받았다.

김 의장은 지난 4일 오전 의회 집무실에서 한국노동조합총연맹 전국소방안전공무원노동조합 경기본부가 뽑은 'Best 도의원'에 선정돼 감사패를 전달받았다. 이날 공병삼 한노총 소방노조 경기위원장은 김 의장에게 경기도 소방공무원의 처우개선과 안전한 근무환경 조성을 위해 노력한 점에 고마움을 표시하며 'Best 도의원' 선정 이유를 밝혔다.
