경기도의회 여성가족평생교육위원회 김재훈 의원(국민의힘, 안양4)이 지난 12월 9일 도의회 중회의실에서 열린 ‘2025년 사회복지종사자 인권보호지원사업 성과보고회’에 참석해 축사를 전했다.

이번 보고회는 올해 추진된 사회복지종사자 인권보호지원사업의 주요 성과를 공유하고 향후 과제를 논의하기 위해 마련됐다. 행사에서는 인권보호 체계 강화, 상호존중 문화 확산, 종사자 인권 인식 제고 등 사업 추진 내용이 소개됐다.

김재훈 의원은 축사에서 “올해 인권보호지원사업은 사회복지 현장의 인권 감수성을 높이고 상호존중 문화를 강화하는 데 의미 있는 성과를 냈다”고 평가했다. 이어 “사업을 통해 도출된 성과와 과제는 향후 경기도 인권정책 수립의 기반이 될 것”이라고 말했다.

또한 김재훈 의원은 “사회복지서비스의 최전선에서 일하는 종사자들이 안전하고 존중받는 환경에서 근무해야 도민에게 제공되는 서비스의 질도 향상된다”며 “도의회도 인권 친화적 복지환경 조성을 위해 제도 개선과 정책 지원을 이어가겠다”고 강조했다.

김재훈 의원은 앞으로도 사회복지종사자의 인권 보호와 증진을 위한 제도적 기반을 강화하고, 현장의 의견이 정책에 반영될 수 있도록 지원책을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.
