더불어민주당 이소영 의원(의왕시·과천시)이 의왕·과천 지역 발전을 위한 행정안전부 특별교부세 21 억원을 확보했다고 16일 밝혔다. 확보된 특별교부세는 의왕과 과천 지역의 복지인프라 확보와 삶의 질 향상을 위해 사용될 예정이다.

이번에 확보된 사업은 ▲[의왕] 부곡커뮤니티센터 신축공사 7억 ▲ [의왕] 내손처리분구 하수관로 개량공사 4억 ▲[과천] 과천행복드림센터 건립 5억 ▲ [과천] 과천지식정보타운 문화체육시설 건립 5억이다 .

의왕 부곡커뮤니티센터는 장안지구에 건립되는 복합커뮤니티시설로, 유·아동시설과 공공도서관 등이 들어설 예정이며 지역 주민들의 생활 편의를 크게 높일 것으로 기대된다 . 과천행복드림센터는 과천시 문원동에 조성되는 장애인복지시설로 , 단기거주시설과 보호작업장 등을 갖춰 장애인 복지 증진과 자립 지원에 기여할 전망이다. 아울러 주민들의 오랜 숙원사업인 과천지식정보타운 문화체육시설 건설 역시 특별교부세 지원으로 차질 없는 추진과 안정적인 사업 진행이 가능해질 것으로 기대된다.

이소영 의원은 “의왕 부곡커뮤니티센터와 과천행복드림센터 건립을 통해 아이부터 장애인까지 모두가 안심하고 이용할 수 있는 생활밀착형 복지 인프라를 확충하고, 과천지식정보타운 문화체육시설 건설 역시 특별교부세 지원으로 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 끝까지 챙기겠다”며 “ 앞으로도 주민들의 오랜 숙원사업이 하나하나 현실이 될 수 있도록 중앙정부와 긴밀히 협력하며 책임있는 역할을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Securing KRW 2.1 billion in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) to improve convenience for residents

Democratic Party of Korea Rep. Lee So-young (Uiwang City and Gwacheon City) announced on the 16th that she has secured KRW 2.1 billion in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) for the development of the Uiwang and Gwacheon regions. The funds will be used to secure welfare infrastructure and improve the quality of life in these areas.

The projects secured this time are: [Uiwang] KRW 700 million for the construction of the Bugok Community Center; [Uiwang] KRW 400 million for the Naeson Treatment District sewer system improvement project; [Gwacheon] KRW 500 million for the construction of the Gwacheon Happy Dream Center; and [Gwacheon] KRW 500 million for the construction of the Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town cultural and sports facilities. The Uiwang Bugok Community Center, a multi-complex community facility being built in the Jangan District, will include facilities for children and infants, a public library, and is expected to significantly improve the lives of local residents. The Gwacheon Happy Dream Center, a welfare facility for the disabled being built in Munwon-dong, Gwacheon-si, is expected to contribute to the promotion of welfare and support for independence for the disabled with short-term residential facilities and sheltered workshops. In addition, the construction of the Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town cultural and sports facilities, a long-awaited project for residents, is expected to proceed smoothly and stably with special grant support. Rep. Lee So-young said, “Through the construction of the Uiwang Bugok Community Center and the Gwacheon Happy Dream Center, we will expand the welfare infrastructure closely related to daily life that everyone from children to the disabled can use with confidence.
