의왕시가 오는 11월까지 시향토사료관에서 특별전시 '풍류-고상하고 멋스럽게 노는'을 개최한다고 6일 밝혔다.

이번 전시는 우리 전통 속에 담긴 '풍류' 의미를 조명하고, 선조들의 여유롭고 품격 있는 삶의 문화를 다양한 전시 자료와 해설을 통해 소개한다. 특히, 조선 후기 시인이자 문인으로 학문과 시문에 뛰어나고 풍류를 즐긴 선비로 평가받는 품산 김직연(1811∼1884)의 작품을 선보인다.

전시장에서는 품산이 친구들과 피서를 즐기며 지은 시들을 모은 '소서첩'을 비롯해, 집 안에 머물며 상상 속 중국을 여행하는 '와유'의 놀이를 담은 '상영도' 그 결과물인 '상영도집', 70대의 나이에도 여전히 뛰어난 예술적 기량을 보여주는 '구로회첩' 등 40여 점 유물을 만나볼 수 있다.

이번 전시를 통해 관람객들은 선비들이 혼자서, 친한 벗들과, 나이가 들어서도 고상하고 멋스럽게 일상을 즐겼던 풍류 흔적을 자연스럽게 느껴볼 수 있다.

Uiwang City to Host Special Exhibition: "Pungryu: Enjoying Everyday Life with Style and Nobility"

Uiwang City announced on the 6th that it will host a special exhibition titled "Pungryu - Enjoying Everyday Life with Style and Nobility" at the City Historical Museum until November.

This exhibition illuminates the meaning of "pungryu" (pungryu) embedded in our traditions and introduces the leisurely and refined lifestyles of our ancestors through various exhibits and commentary. In particular, it showcases the works of Pumsan Kim Jik-yeon (1811-1884), a poet and man of letters from the late Joseon Dynasty who excelled in scholarship, poetry, and the pursuit of pleasure.

The exhibition features over 40 artifacts, including "Soseocheop," a collection of poems written by Pumsan while on vacation with friends; "Sangyeongdojip," a collection of poems he composed while on vacation with friends; "Wayu," a play he played while staying at home, exploring imaginary China; and "Gurohoecheop," a collection of paintings that demonstrate his outstanding artistic skills even in his 70s.

Through this exhibition, visitors can naturally experience the traces of the refined and refined lifestyle of scholars, who enjoyed their daily lives alone, with close friends, and even in old age.
