경기도 가족돌봄수당 사업 참여 시군이 지난해 14개에서 올해 26개 시군으로 늘어남에 따라 더 많은 도민들이 돌봄사업 혜택을 받게 됐다.

가족돌봄수당은 생후 24개월에서 36개월 사이 영유아를 돌보는 친인척 또는 이웃주민에게 아동수에 따라 월 최대 60만 원을 지급하는 사업이다. 가정의 양육 부담을 덜고 지역기반 돌봄체계를 강화하기 위해 추진되고 있다.

신청은 매월 1일부터 15일까지 경기민원24(gg24.gg.go.kr)를 통해 온라인으로 가능하며, 돌봄활동 후 그다음 달에 수당이 지급된다.

시군별 운영 준비 상황에 따라 신청·활동 시작 시점이 다르게 운영된다. 성남시 등 일부 시군은 2026년 1월부터 사업을 시작하며, 용인시 등 나머지 시군은 2026년 2월부터 신청을 받을 예정이다.

시군별 준비 일정에 따른 단계적 시행인 만큼, 정확한 신청 일정은 각 시군 공지를 통해 확인하면 된다.

확대 시행에 앞서 경기도는 최근 ‘2026년 가족돌봄수당 사업설명회’를 열고 시군 담당자에게 주요 개정사항과 운영 방향을 안내했다.

권문주 아동돌봄과장은 “가족돌봄수당은 부모의 양육 부담을 줄이고 지역 내 돌봄 공동체를 활성화하는 중요한 정책”이라며 “2026년에는 참여 시군이 크게 확대된 만큼 더 많은 도민이 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 사업 운영과 관리에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Gyeonggi Province Increases Participation in '600,000 Won Family Care Allowance for 3 Children'

The number of participating cities and counties in Gyeonggi Province's Family Care Allowance program has increased from 14 last year to 26 this year, allowing more residents to benefit from the program.

The Family Care Allowance program provides up to 600,000 won per month, depending on the number of children, to relatives or neighbors caring for infants and toddlers aged 24 to 36 months. The program aims to alleviate the burden of childcare on families and strengthen the community-based care system.
