 의왕시가 행정안전부 주관 ‘2025년 지방재정분석 평가’에서 종합 우수 자치단체로 선정됐다고 5일 밝혔다.

지방재정분석 평가는 전국 243개 지방자치단체를 대상으로 재정의 건전성, 효율성, 계획성 등을 종합적으로 분석하는 정부의 대표적인 재정 평가 제도다.

시는 모든 지표에서 높은 점수를 획득해 최고 등급인 ‘가’ 등급을 받으며, 탄탄한 재정 운영 역량을 입증했다.

시는 그동안 저출산·고령화 대응과 취약계층 보호를 위해 민생 예산을 효율적으로 운용하는 동시에, 시민 안전 확보와 도시 기반 시설 확충에 재원을 집중해 왔다.

이러한 기조 아래 재정 건전성을 엄격히 관리하면서도 시민이 체감할 수 있는 분야에 예산을 적재적소에 투입한 점이 이번 평가에서 높이 평가 받았다.

안치권 부시장은 “이번 성과는 시민의 혈세를 소중히 사용하겠다는 원칙아래 모든 공직자가 한마음으로 노력한 결과”라며 “앞으로도 시민의 삶의 질 향상을 최우선으로 삼아 투명하고 신뢰받는 재정 행정을 펼쳐 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
