경기도교육청(교육감 임태희)이 도내 31개 모든 시군에서 초3~고3 학생의 방학 중 학습 공백 최소화를 위해 ‘지역 협력 경기공유학교 겨울방학 프로그램’을 본격 운영한다.

이번 프로그램은 ‘단순 체험을 넘어 학습으로, 학습을 넘어 진로까지’를 주제로, 일회성 체험 위주에서 벗어나 학생들의 학습 역량을 강화하고 진로를 심도 있게 탐색할 수 있도록 기획됐다.

참여 학생들은 인성, 문화예술, 체육, 생태․환경, 인문․사회, 수리‧융합과학, 인공지능(AI)․디지털, 글로컬 언어, 진로 등 다양한 학습과 진로 탐색 영역에서 흥미와 적성에 따른 수업을 선택할 수 있다.

주요 프로그램은 ▶디지털 게임형 심리케어 ▶홍익대 연계 미술 실기 아카데미 ▶프리다이빙 스쿨 ▶지속 가능한 우리 마을 환경 공학 설계 ▶예금보험공사 협력 경제금융 공유학교 ▶유기화학 ▶빅데이터 분석 ▶국립국제교육원 글로벌 아카데미 ▶기초 간호 임상 실무 등이다.

도교육청은 이번 겨울방학 경기공유학교 운영을 통해 학생들이 방학 기간에도 학습 역량을 키우고 진로를 탐색할 수 있도록 맞춤형 교육을 지속 확대할 계획이다.

Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Launches "Gyeonggi Shared School"

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) is launching the "Regional Cooperation Gyeonggi Shared School Winter Vacation Program" in all 31 cities and counties of the province to minimize learning gaps during vacation for third-year elementary and high school students.

The program, themed "Beyond Simple Experiences to Learning, Beyond Learning to Career Paths," is designed to move beyond one-time experiences and foster students' learning capacity and in-depth career exploration.

Participating students can choose classes based on their interests and aptitudes in a variety of learning and career exploration areas, including character, culture and arts, physical education, ecology and environment, humanities and social sciences, mathematics and convergence science, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital, glocal language, and career paths. The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to continue expanding customized education through the operation of the Gyeonggi Shared School this winter break, enabling students to develop their learning capabilities and explore career paths during their vacation.
