군포시와 안양시의 동네 책방을 전시와 강연으로 만나는 기획 프로그램 ‘동네 책방’이 2월 28일까지 군포 그림책꿈마루에서 열린다.

이번 프로그램은 동네 책방을 지역 문화의 장으로 촉진시키고 책을 매개로 시민들과 생각을 나누는 기회를 마련하고자 기획됐다. 군포와 안양 지역에서 운영 중인 책방연두(군포 부곡동), 나나책방(군포 대야미동), 뜻밖의 여행(안양 호계동) 등 3곳이 참여해 각 책방의 개성과 철학을 전시와 프로그램으로 선보인다.

전시에서는 책방지기가 추천하는 도서를 중심으로 이미지와 텍스트를 통해 책방의 위치와 운영 방식을 소개하며 공간 연출을 통해 실제 책방을 방문한 듯한 경험을 제공한다. 또한 전시와 연계해 책방지기와 전문가가 참여하는 인문·독서 프로그램이 운영된다. 강연과 함께 읽기, 대화 중심의 프로그램을 통해 책과 사유의 시간을 시민들과 공유한다.

주요 프로그램 일정은 다음과 같다.

1월 24일에는 오대산동화나라 정병규 대표의 강연〈생애 세 번 만나는 그림책〉이 열린다. 생애주기에 따라 그림책을 읽는 방식과 감상의 변화를 살펴보며 그림책이 아동을 넘어 성인의 삶으로 확장되는 과정을 조명한다.

1월 27일에는 책방연두 강신영 대표가 진행하는〈다정한 서술자〉에 이어 2월 12일에는 인문학 강연〈사유하는 것과 살아 있는 것〉이 진행된다.

2월 7일에는 나나책방 김인숙 대표가 진행하는 <어린이낭독극과 함께 하는 책 읽는 즐거움>이 진행되고, 12일에는 책방연두 강신영 대표가 진행하는 <다정한 서술자> 그리고 나다울 그림책 작가 강연도 2월 28일에 진행된다.

Gunpo City Opens "Neighborhood Bookstores" Exhibition at Picture Book Dream Maru

"Neighborhood Bookstores," a special program showcasing neighborhood bookstores in Gunpo and Anyang through exhibitions and lectures, will be held at the Gunpo Picture Book Dream Maru until February 28th.

This program aims to promote neighborhood bookstores as a venue for local culture and provide opportunities for citizens to share their thoughts through books. Three bookstores operating in Gunpo and Anyang—Chaekbang Yeondu (Bugok-dong, Gunpo), Nana Bookstore (Daeya-mi-dong, Gunpo), and Unexpected Travel (Hogye-dong, Anyang)—will participate in the exhibition and program, showcasing each bookstore's unique character and philosophy.

The exhibition showcases books recommended by bookstore owners, using images and text to introduce the locations and operating methods of the bookstores. The spatial design creates an immersive experience, reminiscent of a real bookstore. In conjunction with the exhibition, a humanities and reading program featuring bookstore owners and experts will be held. Through lectures, reading, and conversation-based programs, citizens will share time spent reflecting on books.

The main program schedule is as follows.

On January 24th, Jeong Byeong-gyu, CEO of Odaesan Fairy Tale Land, will present a lecture titled "Picture Books You Encounter Three Times in Your Life." This lecture will examine the changes in reading and appreciation of picture books across the life cycle, illuminating the process by which picture books extend beyond children's lives and into adulthood.

On January 27th, Kang Shin-young, CEO of Bookbang Yeondoo, will present "The Affectionate Narrator," followed by a humanities lecture titled "Thinking and Being Alive" on February 12th.

On February 7th, Kim In-sook, CEO of Nana Bookstore, will present "The Joy of Reading with Children's Reading Plays." On February 12th, Kang Shin-young, CEO of Bookbang Yeondoo, will present "The Affectionate Narrator." A lecture by picture book author Na Da-ul will follow on February 28th.
