군포중앙도서관은 시민이 직접 참여하는 낭독 콘텐츠 제작을 통해 공공 문화콘텐츠를 확산하고, 시민의 창작 경험을 지원하기 위해 미디어창작실 시민 낭독 프로젝트 「골든 보이스」를 운영한다.

「골든 보이스」는 시민이 직접 문학 작품이나 개인 창작물을 낭독하고 이를 도서관 미디어창작실에서 전문 장비를 활용해 녹음·편집하여 오디오북 콘텐츠로 제작·공개하는 프로그램이다.

이번 프로젝트는 단순한 낭독 체험을 넘어 기존 활자에 국한됐던 작품을 시민의 목소리로 직접 듣고 나누는 참여형 프로그램으로 마련됐다. 낭독 경험이 많지 않더라도 문학과 낭독에 관심이 있는 시민이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있다.

프로그램은 2026년 3월 3일부터 5월 28일까지 중앙도서관 1층 미디어창작실에서 운영하며 참여 대상은 군포시 성인 10명 내외이다. 낭독 자료는 참여자의 개인 창작물(에세이, 시 등) 또는 저작권 보호기간이 만료된 한국 문학 작품을 활용한다.

참여 신청은 2026년 1월 26일부터 2월 20일까지 군포시 도서관 누리집을 통해 온라인으로 접수하며 선정된 참여자들은 단체 소통 채널을 개설해 약 3개월간 낭독 녹음 활동을 진행한다. 완성된 낭독 결과물은 오디오북으로 제작되어 도서관 공식 유튜브 채널을 통해 시민들에게 공개된다.

윤주헌 중앙도서관 관장은 “오래된 문학과 나만의 이야기가 시민의 목소리로 만나는 자리”라며 “글을 소리로 남겨 시민들과 나누는 작은 전시회 같은 경험이 바란다”고 전했다.

Gunpo Central Library Recruiting Participants for "Golden Voice," a Citizen Reading Project

A Media Creation Program Recording Citizen Voices in Audiobooks

Gunpo Central Library is operating the "Golden Voice," a citizen reading project in the Media Creation Lab. To expand public cultural content and support citizen creative experiences through the direct participation of citizens in the creation of reading content, the library is operating the program.

"Golden Voice" allows citizens to read literary works or personal creations aloud, record and edit them using professional equipment in the library's Media Creation Lab, and produce and release audiobooks.

This project goes beyond a simple reading experience, offering a participatory experience where citizens can directly hear and share works previously confined to printed text. Anyone with an interest in literature and reading aloud is welcome to participate, even if they have limited reading experience.

The program will run from March 3 to May 28, 2026, in the Media Creation Lab on the first floor of the Central Library. Participants are approximately 10 adults in Gunpo City. The reading materials will be either the participants' personal creations (essays, poems, etc.) or Korean literary works whose copyright protection has expired.

Applications will be accepted online through the Gunpo City Library website from January 26 to February 20, 2026. Selected participants will create a group communication channel and record their readings for approximately three months. The completed readings will be produced as audiobooks and shared with the public through the library's official YouTube channel.

Director Yoon Joo-heon of the Central Library stated, "This is a place where traditional literature and personal stories meet through the voices of citizens. We hope this will be a small exhibition-like experience, where we record and share our writings with the public."
