경기도의회 여성가족평생교육위원회 김재훈 의원(국민의힘, 안양4)이 지난 1월 26일 경기도의회 예담채에서 ‘경기도 0세아 전용 어린이집 운영 개선 정담회’를 열고, 0세아 보육 환경 개선을 위한 현장 의견을 청취했다.

김재훈 의원은 “0세아 보육은 가장 세심한 돌봄과 안정적인 환경이 요구되는 시기”라며 “현장에서 체감하는 운영상의 어려움이 제도와 행정으로 충분히 뒷받침되지 못하고 있는 부분을 면밀히 점검할 필요가 있다”고 강조했다.

이어 “조리 인력 운영 문제와 시·군 간 지원 격차, 예산 집행 기준의 혼선 등은 현장의 목소리를 반영해 개선해야 할 과제”라며 “오늘 논의된 의견을 토대로 경기도 집행부와 시·군이 실효성 있는 개선 방안을 마련할 수 있도록 도의회 차원에서 지속적으로 점검하고 뒷받침하겠다”고 밝혔다.

He added, "Based on the opinions discussed today, the Gyeonggi Provincial Council will continue to review and support these issues so that the executive branch of Gyeonggi Province and the cities and counties can develop effective improvement measures."
