안양시청소년재단(이사장 최대호) 산하 학교밖청소년지원센터는 지난 1월 29일 학교 밖 청소년의 건강한 성장을 지원하기 위한 ‘꿈드림 멘토단’ 위촉식과 함께 멘토 역량 강화 교육을 진행했다.

이날 행사에서는 총 15명의 멘토가 위촉됐으며, 멘토의 역할 이해와 전문성 강화를 위한 사전 교육도 함께 이뤄졌다. 교육은 ‘학교 밖 청소년의 친구 멘토’를 주제로, 친구 관계의 의미와 중요성, 멘토의 개념과 역할, 활동 과정에서의 소진 예방 및 자기 돌봄 방법 등을 중심으로 구성됐다.

민미연 센터장은 "꿈드림 멘토단에 함께해 주신 모든 분들께 감사드린다"며 "멘토들이 학교 밖 청소년과 안정적인 관계를 형성하고 든든한 조력자로 성장할 수 있도록 센터 차원의 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 말했다.

한편, 안양시 학교밖청소년지원센터는 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 상담, 학습 지원, 자립·취업 연계(내일지원), 복지 지원 등 다양한 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하며 청소년의 사회 적응과 자립을 돕고 있다.

The Anyang City Out-of-School Youth Support Center, under the umbrella of the Anyang Youth Foundation (Chairman Choi Dae-ho), held an appointment ceremony for its "Dream Dream Mentors" on January 29th to support the healthy growth of out-of-school youth, along with mentor capacity building training.

At the event, a total of 15 mentors were appointed, and preliminary training was also provided to enhance mentors' understanding of their roles and expertise. The training, themed "Friend Mentors for Out-of-School Youth," focused on the meaning and importance of friendships, the concept and role of mentors, and methods for preventing burnout and self-care during activities.
