김동연 경기도지사는 30일 경기도청에서 열린 ‘경기도 부동산 공급대책' 관련한 기자회견을 열고 브리핑을 통해 “경기도가 정부의 주택공급 대책에 발맞춰 2030년까지 주택 80만 호를 공급하는 ‘경기도 주택공급 확대 및 신속 추진방안’을 마련했다고 밝혔다.

경기도는 이번 방안이 정부의 ‘9.7 부동산 대책’과 ‘1.29 도심 주택공급 확대방안’ 기조를 현장에서 구체화한 것으로, 중앙정부와의 협의를 거쳐 정책의 연속성과 실현 속도를 모두 고려해 준비됐다고 밝혔다.

도에 따르면 2030년까지 공공부문에서 17만 호, 민간부문에서 63만 호 등 총 80만 호의 주택을 공급할 계획이다. 공급 유형별로는 아파트 62만 호, 다세대·단독주택 등 18만 호다.

도민 선호 입지에 양질의 주택을 공급하기 위해 1기 신도시 재정비와 노후 원도심 활성화, 도심 내 노후 공공청사 복합개발을 속도감 있게 추진한다. 개발제한구역에 대해서도 합리적인 활용 방안을 검토해 중장기적인 공급 기반을 확보할 방침이다.

공공임대주택 공급도 확대한다. 경기도는 건설형 공공임대와 매입·전세임대를 포함해 2030년까지 총 26만5천 호의 공공임대주택을 공급할 계획이다. 1인 가구부터 다인 가구, 청년·신혼부부·고령층 등 다양한 주거 수요를 반영한 경기도형 공공주택을 선보인다는 구상이다.

주택 공급과 연계한 도시정책 브랜드도 확대된다. 경기도는 역세권 고밀도 복합개발을 통해 주거와 일자리, 여가 기능을 함께 갖춘 ‘경기 기회타운’을 확대 추진한다. 제3판교와 북수원, 우만 테크노밸리 등 현재 추진 중인 사업을 차질 없이 진행해 정주 여건을 강화할 계획이다.

김 지사는 최근 국토교통부 장관과 잇따라 면담을 갖고 주택공급을 위한 규제 완화와 인센티브 강화 등 제도 개선을 건의했다. 도는 정부 주택정책의 성패가 수도권 지방정부와 협력에 달려 있다고 보고, 정책 실행의 최전선 역할을 맡겠다는 입장이다.
