취약계층 고용에 나서는 사회적기업에 대해 경기도가 인건비를 대폭 지원한다. 사회적 가치 성과가 높은 기업일수록 지원 수준을 높이고, 인구감소 지역에는 추가 인센티브를 적용한다.

경기도는 ‘2026년 사회적기업 일자리창출 지원사업’ 참여기업을 오는 3월 6일까지 모집한다고 밝혔다. 이 사업은 취약계층에게 안정적인 일자리를 제공하는 동시에 사회적기업의 지속 가능한 경영 기반을 뒷받침하기 위한 인건비 지원 정책이다.

올해부터는 사회적가치지표(SVI) 평가 결과에 따라 지원금이 차등 지급된다. 기본 지원액은 SVI 등급별로 ‘탁월’ 월 90만 원, ‘우수’ 70만 원, ‘양호’ 및 미측정 기업은 50만 원이다. 여기에 경기도가 ‘지역자율사업’을 통해 기본 지원금의 30%를 추가로 얹는다. 이에 따라 ‘탁월’ 기업은 월 최대 117만 원, ‘우수’ 94만 원, ‘양호’ 및 미측정 기업은 65만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다.

경기도 관계자는 “사회적기업의 고용 창출 성과를 객관적으로 평가하고, 성과에 따라 지원하는 구조로 전환했다”며 “사회적 가치와 경영 성과가 함께 성장하는 선순환 모델을 정착시키겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 사회적가치지표(SVI)는 고용 창출, 지역사회 기여, 조직 운영, 재정 성과, 혁신성 등 14개 항목을 기준으로 사회적기업의 성과를 종합 평가하는 제도다. 경기도는 광역자치단체 가운데 처음으로 SVI 교육과 맞춤형 컨설팅을 도입했으며, 2025년 전국 SVI 성과 평가에서 1위를 기록했다.
