안양시 인재육성재단(이사장 최대호)이 안양지역 중·고등학생과 대학생을 대상으로 ‘2026년 상반기 안양시 장학생’을 선발한다고 9일 밝혔다.

재단은 올해 상반기 총 6억3800만 원의 예산을 투입해 저소득 가정 학생의 학업을 지원하는 ‘희망장학생’과 성적이 우수한 학생을 대상으로 하는 ‘성취장학생’을 선발할 예정이다.

특히 올해는 코나아이의 지역화폐 장학금 기부에 따라 희망장학금 지급 대상이 소기업·소상공인 가정의 고등학생 자녀까지 확대됐다. 이에 따라 중·고등학생 희망장학금은 안양사랑페이 지역화폐로 지급된다.

또한 장학금 제도 개선을 통해 대학생 성취장학금을 기존 등록금성 장학금에서 생활비성 장학금으로 전환하고, 학기별 분할 지급 방식에서 1회 일시금 지급 방식으로 변경해 장학생들이 보다 실질적으로 활용할 수 있도록 했다.

선발된 장학생에게는 기준에 따라 중학생 50만 원, 고등학생 70만 원 또는 100만 원, 대학생 200만 원의 장학금이 지급된다.

신청 기간은 3월 9일부터 4월 13일 오후 6시까지이며, 자세한 내용은 안양시 인재육성재단 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.
