국제라이온스협회 354-B지구 7지역의 친선 골프모임인 ‘세븐회(회장 서종구, 사무국장 안남찬)’가 17일 경기도 용인 소재 한림CC에서 2026년도 첫 정기 라운딩을 가졌다.

이 날 햇살이 빛나는 맑은 하늘이었지만 봄바람이 쌀쌀한 가운데 총 28명의 회원이 참가해 경기를 치렀다. 7개 팀으로 나뉘어 신페리오 방식으로 진행된 이번 경기는 시종일관 화기애애한 분위기 속에서 치러졌다.

치열한 접전 끝에 황종희 회원이 79타를 기록하며 금메달의 영예를 안았고, 송병안 회원(81타)과 이봉효 회원(86타)이 각각 은메달과 동메달을 목에 걸었다. 정확한 샷감을 뽐낸 니어리스트는 안남찬 회원(3m)에게 돌아갔다. 신페리오 부문에서는 김현주 회원이 1, 2위, 이봉효 회원이 3위에 오르며 실력을 과시했다.

올해로 19년의 깊은 연륜을 자랑하는 세븐회는 7지역 소속 회원 50여 명이 활동하는 역사 깊은 모임이다. 단순히 골프를 즐기는 것을 넘어, 매월 정기적인 만남을 통해 라이온스 특유의 끈끈한 유대감을 다지고 이를 지역사회 봉사 정신으로 승화시키는 데 앞장서고 있다.

서종구 회장은 “올해 첫 라운딩을 건강한 모습으로 함께 시작할 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “필드 위에서 나눈 뜨거운 동료애가 올 한 해 지역사회를 위한 따뜻한 봉사 에너지로 이어지길 기대한다”고 전했다.

한편, 이 날 전 총재인 김상철, 조성현 두 회원과 박원일 고문도 함께하여 라운딩에 활기를 불어넣어 주었다.
