의왕시가 정책소통과 적극행정 성과를 인정받아 ‘2026 대한민국 공공기관평가 우수대상’을 수상했다.

시는 지난 24일 국회의원회관 대회의실에서 열린 ‘2026 대한민국 공공기관평가 우수대상’ 시상식에서 정책소통·적극행정 부문 대상에 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 상은 지자체뉴스가 주관해 국민 중심의 행정서비스와 정책정보 제공 역량이 우수한 공공기관을 선정·시상하는 것으로, 의왕시는 정책정보 제공 수준과 시민 접근성, 정보 공개성, 정책 홍보활동 등 전반에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

특히 시는 공식 홈페이지를 사용자 중심으로 개편해 주요 정책과 행정 정보를 쉽게 확인할 수 있도록 접근성을 높였으며, 통합예약시스템 구축 등을 통해 맞춤형 행정서비스를 강화한 점이 주목받았다.

또 카드뉴스와 영상 등 다양한 형태의 정책 홍보 콘텐츠를 제작·배포하고, 시민 참여형 소통 창구를 확대해 정책 이해도를 높인 점도 긍정적으로 평가됐다. 이와 함께 ‘찾아가는 시장실’과 ‘발로 뛰는 동장실’ 운영을 통해 현장 중심의 소통을 강화하고, SNS 채널과 영상 콘텐츠를 활용한 홍보를 적극 추진한 점 역시 성과로 이어졌다는 분석이다.

김성제 의왕시장은 “이번 수상은 시민 중심의 행정서비스와 적극적인 정책소통을 위해 노력해 온 결과”라며 “디지털 기반 소통과 시민 참여 확대를 통해 행정서비스의 품질을 높여온 점이 좋은 평가로 이어진 것으로 보인다”고 말했다.
