제9회 전국동시지방선거 개표 결과, 안양·군포·의왕·과천 지역의 경기도의회 및 기초의회 의원 당선자 명단이 최종 확정됐다.

이번 선거에서 안양·군포·의왕·과천 지역은 더불어민주당의 강세가 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 특히 경기도의원 선거에서는 총 13개 선거구 중 12개 선거구를 더불어민주당이 싹쓸이하며 압도적인 승리를 거두었다. 국민의힘은 과천시 선거구에서 김현석 당선인이 단 1석을 확보하며 광역의원 전패 위기를 간신히 면했다.

기초의원(시의원) 선거의 경우, 안양·군포·의왕 지역에서는 더불어민주당과 국민의힘이 각 선거구별로 의석을 나누어 가지며 양당 체제를 공고히 했다. 반면 과천시 기초의원 선거에서는 가·나선거구 모두 국민의힘이 각각 2석씩을 확보(총 4석)하며 더불어민주당(총 2석)에 판정승을 거두어, 시장 선거와 광역의원 선거에 이어 기초의회까지 보수 강세 지역임을 다시 한번 입증했다.
