경기도교육청평생학습관(관장 류영신)이 교육시설 전반의 안전성과 관리 수준을 인정받아 ‘2025년 교육시설 안전인증 평가’에서 최고 등급인 최우수등급을 획득했다.

교육시설 안전인증은 「교육시설 등의 안전 및 유지에 관한 법률」에 따라 시설안전, 실내환경안전, 외부환경안전 등 교육시설 전반의 안전관리 수준을 종합적으로 평가하는 국가 인증제도다.

이번 평가에서 경기도교육청평생학습관은 소방설비와 보안체계 관리, 실외환경 공간 등 시설안전 및 외부환경안전 분야에서 최우수 평가를 받았으며, 건축재료 안전성과 예방관리 등 실내환경안전 분야에서도 우수한 평가를 받아 종합 최우수등급을 획득했다.

이번 인증의 유효기간은 10년으로, 경기도교육청평생학습관은 오는 2036년 5월까지 교육시설 최우수 안전인증을 유지하게 된다.

평생학습관은 그동안 이용자의 안전을 최우선 가치로 삼고 노후시설 개선과 안전점검, 소방·보안시설 확충, 쾌적한 학습환경 조성 등 지속적인 시설 개선과 유지관리를 추진해 왔다. 이러한 노력이 이번 안전인증 평가에서 높은 점수로 이어졌다는 평가다.
