안양시가 지역사회 곳곳에서 묵묵히 헌신하며 공동체를 위해 힘써온 시민들을 발굴하기 위해 ‘제41회 안양시 시민대상’ 후보자 추천을 받는다.

시는 오는 7월 31일까지 시민대상 후보자를 공개 모집한다고 7일 밝혔다. 시민대상은 다양한 분야에서 지역 발전과 시민 복지 증진에 기여한 시민의 공로를 널리 알리고 감사의 뜻을 전하기 위해 매년 수여하는 안양시 최고 권위의 시민상이다.

올해 시상은 ▲효행 ▲지역사회발전 ▲사회복지 ▲산업경제 ▲문화예술 ▲교육 ▲체육 ▲환경보전 ▲시민안전 등 모두 9개 부문에서 이뤄지며, 각 부문별 1명씩 모두 9명의 수상자를 선정할 예정이다.

추천 대상은 2026년 7월 31일 기준 안양시에 3년 이상 계속 거주하거나 근무한 시민 가운데 각 분야에서 뚜렷한 공적을 세운 사람이다. 오랜 기간 가족을 돌보며 효를 실천한 시민, 어려운 이웃을 위해 봉사해 온 활동가, 산업과 문화예술, 체육 발전에 기여한 인물은 물론 안전하고 쾌적한 도시환경 조성에 힘쓴 시민 등 다양한 분야의 공로자가 추천 대상이 된다.

후보자는 주민 20명 이상의 연서를 받아 추천하거나, 관내 유관기관장과 사회단체장, 학교장 등의 추천을 통해 신청할 수 있다. 접수는 안양시청 3층 총무과에서 방문 접수로 진행된다.
