의왕도시공사가 운영하는 의왕조류생태과학관이 첨단 디지털 기술을 접목한 미디어아트 전시를 새롭게 선보이며 생태체험 콘텐츠를 강화했다. 이와 함께 관람료도 인하해 시민들의 문화·과학 체험 접근성을 높였다.

의왕도시공사(사장 노성화)는 의왕조류생태과학관 1층 생태체험관에 체험형 미디어아트 전시를 조성하고 본격적인 운영에 들어갔다고 밝혔다.

이번 전시는 왕송호수의 아름다운 자연환경과 생태계를 고화질 애니메이션으로 구현해 약 12m 규모의 대형 벽면에 생동감 있게 연출한 것이 특징이다.

특히 관람객이 직접 그린 왕송호수의 새와 곤충 그림을 디지털 기술로 구현해 화면 속에서 살아 움직이는 모습을 체험할 수 있도록 구성돼 어린이와 가족 단위 관람객들에게 색다른 즐거움을 제공한다.

의왕도시공사는 체험 콘텐츠 확대와 함께 관련 조례 개정에 따라 관람료도 인하했다.

성인 관람료는 기존 5천 원에서 4천 원으로, 청소년은 3천 원에서 2천 원으로 각각 낮아져 보다 많은 시민들이 부담 없이 과학관을 이용할 수 있게 됐다.

노성화 의왕도시공사 사장은 "이번 미디어아트 전시와 관람료 인하를 통해 더 많은 시민들이 왕송호수의 생태환경을 쉽고 재미있게 이해하고 자연환경 보전의 중요성을 체험하는 계기가 되길 바란다"며 "앞으로도 시민 누구나 부담 없이 즐길 수 있는 과학문화 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 확대해 의왕조류생태과학관을 지역 대표 생태교육·체험 공간으로 발전시켜 나가겠다"고 말했다.

The Uiwang Bird Ecology Science Museum, operated by the Uiwang Urban Development Corporation, has strengthened its ecological experience content by introducing a new media art exhibition incorporating cutting-edge digital technology. Along with this, admission fees have been reduced to improve citizens' accessibility to cultural and scientific experiences.

The Uiwang Urban Development Corporation (President Noh Seong-hwa) announced that it has established an experiential media art exhibition in the Ecology Experience Hall on the first floor of the Uiwang Bird Ecology Science Museum and has begun full-scale operations.

This exhibition is characterized by vividly portraying the beautiful natural environment and ecosystem of Wangsong Lake through high-definition animation on a large wall approximately 12 meters in size.

In particular, the exhibition is designed to allow visitors to experience drawings of birds and insects from Wangsong Lake created by visitors themselves, bringing them to life on the screen using digital technology, providing a unique enjoyment for children and families.

Uiwang City Corporation has expanded experiential content and lowered admission fees following the amendment of relevant ordinances.
