과천시 청소년들이 제주 올레길을 걸으며 도전과 협력의 가치를 배우는 특별한 여름방학을 보냈다.

과천시는 여름방학을 맞아 관내 청소년 30명을 대상으로 지난 7월 28일부터 31일까지 3박 4일간 제주도에서 ‘청소년 국토대장정(제주) 올레갈래?’ 캠프를 운영했다고 3일 밝혔다.

이번 국토대장정은 서귀포 일대를 중심으로 진행됐으며, 참가자들은 마라도와 송악산, 제주 올레길 등을 탐방하며 제주의 자연환경과 역사, 문화를 직접 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.

특히 청소년들은 제주 올레길을 직접 걸으며 정해진 구간을 완주하는 과정에서 스스로 목표를 달성하는 성취감을 느끼고, 자연 속에서 도전의 의미를 되새기는 경험을 했다.

캠프 기간에는 모둠별 미션과 다양한 체험 프로그램도 함께 운영됐다. 참가자들은 서로 의견을 나누고 역할을 분담하며 과제를 수행하는 과정에서 협동심과 공동체 의식을 키우고 또래 간 소통과 유대감을 넓혔다.

과천시는 이번 국토대장정을 단순한 여행이 아닌 자연과 역사, 문화를 직접 경험하며 자기 주도성과 사회성을 함께 기를 수 있는 체험 중심 프로그램으로 운영했다.

Gwacheon City announced on the 3rd that it operated the "Youth Cross-Country Expedition (Jeju) Olle Galrae?" camp on Jeju Island for 30 local youths from July 28 to 31, a 3-day, 4-night event held during the summer vacation.
