제10대 군포시의회가 개원 이후 처음으로 의원 발의 자치법규안을 공개하며 본격적인 입법 활동에 나섰다.

군포시의회는 오는 9월 열리는 제289회 제1차 정례회에서 심의할 의원 발의 자치법규 17건을 입법예고하고 오는 11일까지 시민 의견을 접수한다고 3일 밝혔다.

이번에 공개된 안건은 조례안 14건과 규칙안 3건으로, 새로운 제도를 마련하는 제정안 8건과 기존 제도를 보완하는 개정안 9건으로 구성됐다. 로봇산업 육성과 도시재생, 노인복지, 성평등, 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 의정혁신 등 지역의 미래 성장과 시민 삶의 질 향상을 위한 다양한 정책이 담겼다.

특히 군포산업진흥원에 웨어러블 로봇 실증센터 조성이 추진되는 지역 여건을 반영해 마련된 ‘군포시 로봇산업 진흥 및 육성 조례안’이 눈길을 끈다. 해당 조례안은 지역 로봇산업 기반을 체계적으로 육성하고 관련 산업 생태계를 조성하기 위한 제도적 기반 마련을 목표로 한다.

의회운영위원회 소관으로는 박상현 의원(국민의힘)이 대표 발의한 ‘군포시의회 의정활동 지원 업무 혁신을 위한 인공지능 활용 조례안’을 비롯해 신경원 의원의 ‘군포시의회 위원회 조례 일부개정안’ 등 모두 7건이 입법 예고됐다.

행정복지위원회에서는 신경원 의원이 발의한 ‘군포시 노인학대 예방 및 학대피해노인 보호에 관한 조례 전부개정안’, 이혜승 의원의 ‘군포시 성별 임금격차 해소 및 성평등 임금공시 조례안’ 등 4건이 심의 대상에 오른다.

산업건설위원회 소관 안건에는 이동한 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘군포시 로봇산업 진흥 및 육성 조례안’과 신경원 의원의 ‘군포시 도시재생 활성화 및 지원에 관한 조례 일부개정안’ 등 6건이 포함됐다.

대표 발의 건수는 신경원 의원이 9건으로 가장 많았으며, 박상현 의원 5건, 이동한 의원 2건, 이혜승 의원 1건을 각각 발의했다.
