경기도군포의왕교육지원청이 여름방학을 맞아 특수교육대상학생과 가족들이 함께 문화예술을 즐길 수 있는 영화관람 프로그램을 마련하며 가족 간 소통과 문화 향유 기회를 확대했다.

경기도군포의왕교육지원청(교육장 정숙경) 특수교육지원센터는 지난 7월 29일 금정역 메가박스에서 관내 특수교육대상학생과 가족을 대상으로 ‘가족과 함께하는 영화관람’ 프로그램을 운영했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 특수교육대상학생 가족지원 프로그램의 하나로, 가족이 함께 여가와 문화 활동을 즐기며 소통하고 추억을 만들 수 있도록 기획됐다. 학생들이 다양한 문화예술 활동을 경험하고 지역사회 안에서 자연스럽게 문화생활을 누릴 수 있도록 지원하는 데에도 의미를 두었다.

교육지원청은 학생들의 특성을 고려해 메가박스 2개 상영관을 전용으로 대관했다. 평소 영화관의 조용한 관람 환경이나 주변의 시선 때문에 문화생활에 어려움을 겪는 학생들도 심리적 부담 없이 가족과 함께 영화를 관람할 수 있도록 배려했다.

이날 프로그램에는 특수교육대상학생 26가족, 총 75명이 참여해 애니메이션 ‘토이스토리5’와 ‘미니언즈&몬스터즈’를 관람하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈다. 참여 가족들은 학생 특성을 반영한 운영 방식과 편안한 관람 환경에 높은 만족감을 나타냈다.

한 학부모는 “학생들의 특성을 세심하게 배려해 주신 덕분에 가족 모두가 편안하고 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있었다”며 “평소에는 다른 사람들의 시선을 의식해 문화생활을 하는 데 부담이 있었는데, 오늘은 그런 걱정 없이 영화를 볼 수 있어 정말 감사했다”고 말했다.

정숙경 교육장은 “이번 프로그램이 학생들에게 다양한 문화예술을 경험하고 가족과 소중한 추억을 만드는 시간이 되었기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 지속적으로 협력해 특수교육대상학생들이 다양한 문화·예술·체험 활동에 참여하고 지역사회 구성원으로 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Special Education Support Center of the Gunpo-Uiwang Office of Education (Superintendent Jeong Suk-gyeong) announced that it operated the "Movie Viewing with Family" program for students with special educational needs and their families within its jurisdiction at Megabox Geumjeong Station on July 29.
