평촌경영고등학교가 졸업생과 재학생을 연결하는 진로 멘토링 프로그램을 마련해 학생들의 취업 경쟁력 강화와 학교 공동체 활성화에 나섰다.

평촌경영고등학교(교장 손옥기)는 지난 7월 14일 교내 드림스페이스실과 시청각실에서 졸업생과 재학생이 함께하는 '2026학년도 드림브릿지 선후배 만남의 날' 행사를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 졸업생들의 취업 경험과 직무 노하우를 후배들과 공유해 진로 설계와 취업 준비에 실질적인 도움을 제공하고, 선후배 간 지속적인 네트워크를 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 행사에서는 졸업생들이 각 학급을 찾아 자신의 취업 과정과 직무 경험을 소개하며 현장 이야기를 생생하게 전달했다. 드림스페이스실에서는 선배들과 후배들이 자유롭게 질의응답을 이어가며 기업 채용 동향과 취업 준비 과정, 직장 생활에 대한 현실적인 조언을 나누는 시간도 마련됐다.

특히 졸업생들은 최근 기업들의 채용 흐름과 취업 준비 과정에서 필요한 역량, 현장에서 체감한 실무 경험 등을 공유하며 후배들의 궁금증을 해소했다.

행사에서는 선후배가 함께 기념사진을 촬영하며 추억을 만들었고, 졸업생들이 포스트잇에 응원 메시지를 남겨 후배들에게 전달하는 프로그램도 진행돼 학교 공동체의 의미를 되새기는 시간을 가졌다.

행사에 참여한 한 재학생은 “선배님들의 실제 직무 경험과 최신 채용 정보를 직접 들을 수 있어 취업 준비 방향을 구체적으로 그릴 수 있었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

졸업생 역시 “모교를 찾아 후배들에게 경험을 나누고 도움을 줄 수 있어 매우 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며 “후배들이 자신의 목표를 향해 도전하는 데 작은 힘이 됐으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

손옥기 교장은 “졸업생들의 경험은 교실에서 얻기 어려운 살아 있는 진로교육 자료”라며 “앞으로도 선후배 간 교류를 확대해 학생들이 진로를 보다 구체적으로 설계하고 취업 역량을 키울 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램을 운영하겠다”고 밝혔다.

평촌경영고등학교는 앞으로도 선후배 네트워크를 지속적으로 활성화하고 프로그램을 보완해 재학생들이 선배들의 성장 사례를 통해 미래를 설계하고 도전 의식을 키울 수 있도록 지원을 이어갈 계획이다.

Pyeongchon Business High School has set out to strengthen students’ employment competitiveness and revitalize the school community by organizing a career mentoring program that connects graduates with current students.

Pyeongchon Business High School (Principal Son Ok-gi) announced that it held the "2026 Dream Bridge Senior-Junior Meeting Day" event on July 14th in the school’s Dream Space Room and Audiovisual Room, bringing together graduates and current students.

This event was organized to provide practical assistance with career planning and job preparation by sharing graduates’ employment experiences and job know-how with their juniors, and to build a continuous network between seniors and juniors.

During the event, graduates visited each classroom to introduce their employment processes and job experiences, vividly sharing stories from the field. Principal Son Ok-gi stated, “The experiences of graduates are living career education resources that are difficult to obtain in the classroom,” adding, “We will continue to expand exchanges between seniors and juniors and operate various programs to help students design their career paths more concretely and cultivate their employment capabilities.”
