양 시는 공동운영 계획에 따라 상호 교차소각을 차질 없이 진행하고 있다. 상반기에는 군포시 생활폐기물 237.87톤을 광명시가, 광명시 생활폐기물 303.69톤을 군포시가 각각 처리해 총 542톤의 생활폐기물을 안정적으로 소각했다. 이어 7월에도 약 400톤을 추가 처리하면서 현재까지 모두 942톤 규모의 생활폐기물을 공공소각시설 간 협력으로 처리했다.
